this product, while a great concept is poorly executed.
the steel tubing for the main support beam is too thin walled, dimensionally too small and doesn't extend far enough into the receiver.
this results in high stress loads at the pin, top of tube inside the receiver and bottom of tube at insertion end of receiver.
in addition, the crossmembers are made of thin folded sheet steel, and any torsional load will eventually cause a stress fatigue failure at the weakest point. I know, because this happened to me 300 miles from home.
do not buy this product if you are going to use it with any significant loads. you can build a better one, cheaper, from scrap steel tubing.

Takes some thought to construct. This is a very handy item. I was borroeing one for several years until I found this kit. I loaded this up to drive my daughter to school. And have hauled snowblowers frequently.
Very handy item if you have a hitch but not a pickup truck.
